Located in north central Colorado, the Gore Range runs northwest to southeast, forming the headwaters of the Colorado River. The majority of high peaks in the Gore Range are in the 13,000 foot category. Although no fourteeners are in the Gore Range, the thirteeners are included as a climbing resource.
