Located in the upper reaches of the North Fork Valley, the Paonia State Park has 334 acres of fishing on a reservior that when full has a length of two miles. Sitting at an elevation of 6,500 feet, the Park has 1,523 acres of alpine scenery and solitude.<\/span><\/p>\n Activities: fishing, camping, water skiing, power boats, sailing, canoeing and sailboarding.<\/span><\/p>\n Fishing from mid June to the middle of August. Fishing is also good in the tailwater below the dam.
