Located just south-west of the town of Gunnison, Hartman Rocks Recreation Area consists of over 8,000 acres for outdoor activities. Named for the Hartman Family, an early pioneer family, the recreation area is a partnership between the City and County of Gunnison and the Bureau of Land Management. The recreation area is multi-use:<\/p>\n
