The City of Delta is located at the confluence of the Gunnison and Uncompahgre Rivers, and offers a charming and eclectic Downtown with thriving businesses, gorgeous parks, a first-rate community recreation center, and a world-class golf course, Devil’s Thumb.
 
In the Surface Creek Valley, the town of Cedaredge is tucked at the base of Grand Mesa, billed as the largest flat-topped mountain in the world, with proximity to great restaurants, superior outdoor recreational opportunities, and a sparkling array of art galleries and entertainment venues. Nearby, the smaller towns of Austin, Cory and Eckert combine rural living with excellent amenities and easy access to some of America’s best fly fishing in the Gunnison River.
 
To the north east, the North Fork Valley, which encompasses the towns of Hotchkiss, Paonia and Crawford, is becoming known nationwide for its niche-market agriculture, wineries and breweries.
