The McInnins Canyons National Conservation Area contains 123,430 acres and includes 75,000 acres of wilderness designated as the Black Ridge Canyons Wilderness Area. The NCA contains the largest concentration of naturally occurring arches in Colorado, located within the Black Ridge Canyons Wilderness Area in Rattlesnake Canyon. Major hiking areas include Rattlesnake Canyon, Rabbit Valley and Dinosaur Hill.
The Kokopelli Trail Area is included within the Conservation Area. The single track trails are documented in the Ride Section of the website, and should be consulted for hikers.
Rabbit Valley, west of the Kojopelli Trail System, consists of 24 square miles of high desert terrain. This area has been designated by the BLm as a multi-use area, which provides recreational activities including, camping, hiking, biking, and OHV trails.
