Important Note:
Colorado Parks and Wildlife will be closing Sylvan Lake State Park in April of 2018 for the reconstruction of the dam.

On the 42 acre lake, only non-motorized boats or boats with electric trolling motors. Paddle boards, canoes, and sit on top kayaks are available for rent from Memorial Day through Labor Day. There is no swimming in the lake.

Activities: Biking, Boating, cabins, yurts, camping, cross-country skiing, fishing, geocaching, group camping, hiking, horseback riding (horses are not permitted in the developed areas of the park, such as cabins, yurts, campground and day use areas), hunting, ice fishing, ice skating, OHV riding, picnicking, sledding, snomobiling, snowshoeing, winter camping.

Additional Info:
-Underwater spearfishing may be used for fishing Northern Pike or Carp, when present, in accordance with Colorado Parks and Wildlife regulations.
-Underwater Spearfishing is prohibited within 100 feet of any marina, boat ramp, swim beach or dam infrastructure.
West Brush Creek: the Sylvan Lake inlet and upstream for 1/2 mile:
-Fishing is prohibited from September 1 through November 30.
