Ridgway State Park is located just 15 miles north of Ouray (the Switzerland of America) and 20 miles south of Montrose in the Uncompahgre Valley. Feel the spirit of the San Juan Mountains, unlimited outdoor activities, and 280 campsites in the Park.

Additional information: -Taking of kokanee is allowed from September 1 to December 31. -No bag limits, possession of small bass mouth. -Hunting underwater underwater can be used for the Pike or carp, CPW regulations. In addition, no underwater fishing starts less than 100 feet from any Marina, ramp, don’t swim beach or dam infrastructure.

This area is the fence below the USGS Gas Station just below the Ridgway dam, at the confluence of the Uncompahgre with Cow Creek. Tailwater: 1.5 miles.
