Crawford State Park is located on the Northern Rim of the Black Canyon of the Gunnison, several miles from the small town of Crawford. With the backdrop of the West Elk Mountains, Crawford boasts 400 acres of water for fishing and water recreation.

Fishing, water skiing, camping, swimming, canoeing, sailing, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, hunting, ice fishing, sail and paddleboard sports, winter camping, bird and wildlife viewing.

Fish: Yellow Perch, Black Crappie, Common Carp,Largemouth Bass, Catfish and Northern Pike.

Additional Info:
-Northern Pike were illegally stocked in Crawford Reservoir. Pike have a negative impact on the fishery. Anglers can help CPW control these fish by keeping their legal bag limit.
-There is no bag or possession limit for Yellow Perch.
-Underwater spearfishing may be used for fishing Northern Pike or Carp, when present, in accordance with Colorado Parks and Wildlife regulations.
-Underwater Spearfishing is prohibited within 100 feet of any marina, boat ramp, swim beach or dam infrastructure.

Two Campgrounds, total of 66 campsites with Iron Creek Campground having electric and water hookups. Both campsites accommodate tents, trailers, and campers. Shower facilities, dump station.

At 6,600 feet elevation, located on Highway 93, park is one mile south of Crawford.
