Hahn’s Peak serves as the backdrop to the Steamboat Lake State Park. The lake contains 1,055 acres of water for fishing and water sports (full service marina). The area averages over 300 inches of snowfall, bringing winter activities such as snowmobiling, cross-country skiing (groomed trails) and snowshoeing. Camping at the Park offers both electric and non-electric sites for tents and RVs. At the Dutch Hill Campground there are showers, flush toilets, laundry facilities and a dump station. Steamboat Lake also has 10 camper cabins available for reservation.

-Underwater spearfishing may be used for fishing Northern Pike or Carp, when present, in accordance with Colorado Parks and Wildlife regulations.
-Underwater Spearfishing is prohibited within 100 feet of any marina, boat ramp, swim beach or dam infrastructure.
