Located south of Steamboat Springs and offering four season outdoor recreation, Stagecoach State Park offers multiple activities. Visit the Park Office and ask about the free rental program: fat tire bikes, fishing rods (fly and lake supplies), ice fishing equipment, snowshoes, and activity backpacks (binoculars, field guides, Jr. Ranger books, & more). Stagecoach State Park is close to both the Flattops and Sarvis Creek Wilderness Areas.

Activities: biking, birding, boating, camping, cross-country skiing, equipment rental, fishing, group camping & picnicking, hiking, horseback riding, hunting, ice fishing, jet skiing, OHV riding, paddle boarding, picnicking, sailboarding, snomobiling, swimming, volleyball, water skiing.

Winter Activities: ice fishing, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, fat biking, wildlife viewing, limited snowmobiling, and winter camping.

Fish: Walleye, Northern Pike, Rainbow Trout

Additional Info:
-Northern Pike and Walleye can negatively impact native fish recovery. Anglers can help control these fish by keeping their legal bag limit.
-There is no bag or possession limit for Walleye.
-Underwater spearfishing may be used for fishing Northern Pike or Carp, when present, in accordance with Colorado Parks and Wildlife regulations.
-Underwater Spearfishing is prohibited within 100 feet of any marina, boat ramp, swim beach or dam infrastructure.
