Mancos State park is several miles north of Mancos. The parks main feature is the Jackson Gulch Reservoir which holds 225 acres if water. Boating on the reservoir is wake-less, which supports the quiet atmosphere of the park.

Jackson Gulch Reservoir, Fall through Spring recreation:
canoeists, kayakers, wakeless power boats, No swimming or water skiing.

Fishing: Rainbow Trout, Yellow Perch
Access: Easy
Boating: Wakeless

Cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, ice fishing.

Hiking on 5.2 miles of trails, with connecting trails to the National Forest and the Colorado Trail. Located 12 miles from Mesa Verde National Park.

Campground with 23 campsites, with water and vault toilets. No electrical hookups or other RV services. Separate tent sites: 9
2 Yurts are available for overnight stays year round.

From Mancos, north on Hwy 184 for .25 mile, turn east on County Raod 42 (USFS Rd. 561) for 4 miles, turn on CR N to the park.
