レイクフォークは、サンファン山脈北部のスローン湖で始まります。川は、ブルーメサ貯水池への道のサンクリストバル湖を通って流れる長さ64.7 マイルです。湖のフォークでの釣りは、このフリーストーン川に春から秋にあります. レイクシティからレイク・フォーク・インレットまでの公共フィッシング・アクセスは29マイルで、茶色とニジマスが主な漁獲地となっています。ゲートキャンプ場の下の BLM 境界に下流に高い橋ガルチとの合流から特別な釣り規制があります。
