The Back of Beyond flat water Race follows the Colorado River through the spectacular red rock canyons of Southeastern Utah and past some of the world’s most breathtaking scenery – through Moab’s ‘Postcard Alley’ and into Utah’s own ‘back of beyond’. Day two provides the SUP rodeo at Red Cliffs Lodge, where competitors will negotiate a wild ride through White’s Rapid.

Saturday May 11th:
-Staging area opens at 10am and will be located at the Hittle Bottom boat ramp.
(Hittle Bottom Campground is located 23 miles east from the junction of Highway 191 and Highway 128)
-10:00 Day of Registration, events, sponsor booths, and vendors
-NOON Day of Registration Ends
-1:30 All Racer’s should be at starting line for pre-race talk/orientation(Dewey Bridge)
-2:00 Youth Race starts(Dewey Bridge)
-2:10 Elite Race starts(Dewey Bridge)
-2:15 Open Race starts(Dewey Bridge)
-5:00 Awards Ceremony and Post Race Party(Hittle Bottom)
Sunday May 12th:
-Staging area opens at 8:30am and will be located at Red Cliffs Lodge.
(Red Cliffs Lodge is located 13 miles east from the junction of Highway 191 and Highway 128)
-9:00 All Racer’s should be at starting line for pre-race talk(Red Cliffs Lodge boat dock)
-9:30 Whitewater race start
-11:30 Awards Ceremony
