The Four Day Festival – March 11-14 (Saturday – Tuesday)
Weekender – March 11 and 12 (Saturday and Sunday)

All routes open to change.  Final routes to be announced in early January, 2017.
Route on Monday, March 13 through Arches National Park may be re-directed to a different route.
Friday, March 10, 2017:   Bring a photo or post a note about what or who inspires you! This event honors those living with, through, and beyond cancer.

2-8:00 pm:  Rider Check-In, Event Expo – Demo A High End Bike

3:00 pm:  Warm Up Ride Sponsored by Blaze Bicycles.
Meet at Moab Classic Bike Shop, 69 East Center Street, Moab. Led by Pierre Chastain.

Saturday, March 11, 2017:   Dead Horse Point State Park
Schedule may change.

DAY 1 of Riding – Rider packet will have details on route; follow red route signs. Busy day in Moab with runners at intersection near Colorado River and Archway Inn Hotel.

7:00-9:00 am:  Rider Check-In; Classic Bike Show and Event Expo open; Massage Sign-Up; Mechanic Available

8:00-3:00pm:  Dead Horse Point State Park – Route is Open, Group start at 8am, or sleep in and please be on the road by 9’ish.
Event Expo.

10:30-1:30pm:  Lunch served at turnaround point at Dead Horse Point State Park.

AID stations close sequentially throughout day. Be prepared to arrive back in Moab no later than 3pm when route support ends.

Noon-5:00pm: Massages at Aarchway Inn.

Apres-Ride: Relax in back courtyard area of Archway Inn Hotel, or go home, shower and return. but for sure..be back by 3pm for short program you’ll want to see.

2:00-5:00 pm:  Festival Social and Classic Bike Show and Event Expo
3pm: Celebration Program (Pierre Chastain/Blaze Bicycles; Classic Bike Show People’s Choice Award)

Sunday, March 12, 2017: Colorado River Corridor
Schedule may change.
DAY 2 of Riding – Rider packet will specific details on route – please read.

SPRING FORWARD ONE HOUR
9:00 am – Start on your own (no group start) Colorado River Corridor Ride. Optional start is at Red Cliffs Ranch on route!
Your body (and the sun!) will think it is 8:00am.

Support available until 3:00 pm.

11am-2pm – Lunch served at Red Cliffs Ranch

2pm-5:00pm Massages at Aarchway Inn. To schedule outside this time, call Kerry, 435-210-0822.

6:00pm Western Dinner Social at Red Cliffs Ranch  – Special Guest Dave Shields! Author of “The Race. A novel of grit, tactics, and the Tour de France” Mingle with other Festival cyclists, tour the Castle Creek Winery, explore the Moab Musuem of Film and Western Heritage, or relax outdoors on the large patio overlooking the cottonwood trees and the Colorado River. Ribeye steak, bbq chicken, corn on the cob, and (optional vegetarian main dish)..Pick up your pre-purchased or pre-requested ticket at Rider Check-In.

Monday, March 13, 2017:   Arches National Park
Schedule may change.
DAY 3 of Riding

8:00 am 3:00pm – No group start, start on your own. Route support open 8am-3pm for Arches National Park Ride. Route pending approval.

Lunch available from 10am – 2 pm at turnaround point inside Park.

Support available until 3:00 pm. Please plan your cycling such that you are back in Moab no later than 3pm.

Noon-5:00pm Massages can be booked by calling Kerry at 435.210-0822.

Banff Mountain Film Festival – 7pm at Grand County High School. ($10 discounted fee, $12 at door).
 
Tuesday, March 14, 2017:   River Portal Ride
Schedule may change.
DAY 4 of Riding

Hwy 279 is a local’s favorite for its gentle spinning along the Colorado River. Passing by “Wall Street” named for it’s spectacular rock climbing venue, you’ll see authentic Indian Writing left thousands of years ago.

Support available 8am until 1:00 pm.

Lunch is on your own.

Lunch included Saturday, Sunday and Monday rides. Tuesday most cyclists will finish early and head home so lunch is on your own.
